Personally I find that a video is the most effective way to present an aspect of rhetoric. I find that it is effective because you have so many different mediums to use to your advantage. In a video you have body language, music, words, writing, pictures, and setting all to help you convey rhetoric. By choosing other ways one limits themselves to only a few of these.
I would not choose another way to present my rhetoric. Not only do I feel it is the best way to get my message across, i also had a lot of fun doing the project. There are some pretty funny outtakes on my computer. Doing something creative and different is always fun.

I think it's really cool that you actually chose to do video. If I had made more time to do it, I might have done it but I'm really glad that some people actually did it instead of doing all post secret (like I did) ahha. It's definitely the most effective way to present rhetoric as well especially after watching those Jon Stewart clips in class. The evidence is right in front of you and you can't deny it in any way, it's proof.
ReplyDeleteYeah I completely agree. Doing film allows you to get really creative in so many ways. And like you said when you do it with friends it makes doing a project that much easier. That's why I think movies are so affective and bring up so many emotions within people.
ReplyDeleteHopefully you will actually get to see our video on Tuesday.
